I think that the children should be adopted because a vast majority of their parents are more likly ro be dead. Why would you keep waiting and waiting and letting those poor parentless children wait for their parents to come home, when they are mostlikly not to. I mean take this into consideration that if you had kids, then wouldnt you want them to have a home, clothes on their back and food in their stomach if you got into some freak accident like the Tsunami hit? I know I would. Those children have rights to be happy too. Evern though they will carry this greif with them forever, atleast with adopted parents they could try to be happy. Maybe even grow up being happy and healthy. If you were a good vice-president, then you would be able to see that. You should be able to see those children have rights and maybe whatever you think is right and best for them isnt. Please take my words into consideration to your, well in my opinion, stupid act.

I disagree with adopting these children out. Their parents may still be found, or some close relatives and they have been through enough already. Let everyone get settled. Maybe some really good orphanages or schools can be assembled and the children can stay in their homeland and their own culture. god (or whomever) forbid they be forced into westernization or worse-Christianity
