Apollo Hospitals joins relief efforts

It's hospitals in Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Madurai and in Sri Lankan capital Colombo are gearing up to manage the situation and any future emergency.

They have created a helpline for people reach them and the employees, including doctors, have contributed a day's pay collecting Rs one crore for calamity relief.

Apollo Hospitals is co-ordinating relief activities for flood victims affected by the recent calamity. Desperately need clothes, sheets, vessels now!

Jaycees of Mayiladuthurai (Mayavaram) in Tanjore Dt is involved in Tsunami Relief Work at Poompuhar, Chidambaram and other nearby coastal areas. Refugee Camps are being run in Mayiladuthurai for the displaced victims. There is an urgent need to provide medicines at various camps. Jaycees volunteers will assist in distribution.
