It mentions DYFI as one of the frontline organizations where the fund will go. DYFI (Democratic Youth Federation of India) is youth wing for CPI(M) party. DO NOT donate funds for political purpose. They are invloved in Naxalite activities and have turned India into a nightmare.
Donate someone who will genuinely help people and not further the cause of politics.
WOW, i like the idea of AID/ASHA ..its good way to collect money, .. Attack on IDRF and like orgs,
create a hatred among people, bring out such 'fancy' reports, and drive the funds towards communist/chinese AID/ASHA organizations and irks..
How many dead bodies have been lifted by AID volunteers? All they do is sit in front of PC and blog all the time. RSS volunteers are known to lift bodies (do they have religion, ? if you claim they are fundamentalists, can they talk to dead bodies?).. Its the AID/ASHA that talks the the live people and loots them for the purpose of CPI(M)/DYFI ..
Watch all the relief work done by RSS since last 2-3 natural calamties, even Red Cross is working with them in TamilNadu hand-in-hand to lift bodies. Wake up AID/ASHA guys from your blogging activites and give a hand to RSS and Red Cross who are doing really good work, to clear off the dead bodies and clean off the blood. Your Marx religion doesn't permit it, does it?

Over 4900 bodies buried in worst affected Nagai
Nagapattinam(TN), Dec 29. (PTI):Over 4900 bodies have been buried so far by Red Cross volunteers in the district which bore the brunt of Tsunami disaster, according to an official of the Thanjavur chapter of the Red Cross (RC).
The buried included 2400 from Nagapattinam, 1500 from Velankanni and 1000 from other parts of the district, RC Thanjavur district secretary Raj Manohar told PTI.
The toll was likely to go up as more bodies had been sighted in some places in the district, which was badly affected due to the December 26 Tsunami, he said.
Thirty medical teams from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu were working round-the-clock to provide relief to the affected. Over 500 injured persons had been admitted to Nagapattinam, Thanjavur and Tiruvarur government hospitals, he said.
The Red Cross, with the help of RSS volunteers, has undertaken mass burials all over the district. Even bodies which could not be identified had been buired as they were highly decomposed, he said.
The entire coastal belt from Nagore to Velankanni, in which 14 fishermen hamlets were located, had been washed away due to the tidal waves, he said.
The RC, together with the health authorities, would launch a massive anti-cholera inoculation programme from today in the district.Corporate houses like BHEL and Hyundai were supplying medicines to government authorities, he said.

Where are AID/ASHA volunteers?
AID/ASHA report claims RSS area fundamentalists and asks donors to donate to RedCross ..Now, compare this with the truth in the above article on 'The hIndu' newspaper.? Yes.. it shows AID is nowhere for relief.. its just for 'shoppers' and 'bloggers'..Learn a bit from RSS, it will really help the victims, and you don't need nay money for that!!
