Germany sends water experts; Indian govt sends doctors

The German government is sending a 12-member team of water supply experts to Sri Lanka Tuesday with mobile water testing and treatment equipment.

The Health Ministry in India has sent doctors to Tsunami-affected areas.
In Pondicherry, 30 doctors are already working. For Chennai, the centre has sent 25 doctors and in the Andamans, 17 doctors have been sent.
The Indian Institute of Communicable Diseases is also sending teams all over to assess if there is any fear of epidemics.

International relief is also on its way from China and Japan.
