More relief efforts from Trinidad & Tobago

Varona Ltd. which owns Club de Vegas and the Laughing Buddha Restaurant (Frederick Street, Port of Spain) has launched a relief fund for victims in Asia.

This is a Malaysian owned company. They have started off the fund by donating US$10,000.00. They are also collecting clothes, blankets etc. All donations will go to the Tzu Chi Foundation which is a non-governmental organisation involved in charity work.

Donations may be deposited in boxes at the Club or Restaurant between the hours of 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.

(2) Adoption. Well, adoption is something that will probably be important at some point, but right now it seems that keeping everyone healthy and well is taking precedence.
