Most big trash has now been removed, the Beachfront street lights are back (but not all the electricity actually), the water is partly back (Beachfront shops of course, the rest of Patong always had water and electricity)... Traffic has been reopened. Few tourists are back on the beach and it gives us hope. The second road of Patong Beach is packed with traffic and people. Hundred of people have join the cleaning effort, all construction companies have been reassigned to the cleaning. Every single shop is doing its own cleaning and all together the amount of work already done is amazing...
