UN launches Somali tsunami appeal
The United Nations has launched an appeal for 54,000 Somalis it says were affected by the Indian Ocean tsunami.
About 150 Somalis are estimated to have died in the disaster, most of them fishermen from the semi-independent region of Puntland.
The giant waves hit at the height of the area's fishing season, when the population of coastal villages is much larger than usual.
The UN now says that at least $13m is urgently needed and this could rise.
