Your servers are swamped, I'll look into getting this file hosted at LegalTorrents.com pending permission to repost it.

I can find a host, I think it's appropriate to take down the link to the .in ppt file because it may be affecting access to the Indian NRSA government website which is currently down. If you can email the file to me I'll see if I can find a host. mckirkus 'AT' yahoo 'dot' com

I'd just like to point out that this satellite data might be useful for those planning rescue/recovery operations so if we can get this hosted somewhere and get word of it out, it might help with planning considering that it's now inaccessible. I emailed the guys at legaltorrents.com about hosting this, I'll let you know when I get a reply.

Must have been too big. Can you change the file name and repost it on your home PC and provide a link in the comments so the two of us will have sufficient bandwidth? Thanks!

I do not have problem in sending email. The fact is that the ppt file is 8 MB. Iam a paid subscriber of hotmail. So I will be able to send the mail. But if your mail server does not accept files of size around 8 MB, it will bounce back. I will go ahead and send the file and let's see what happens.

Thanks for your efforts, Yahoo mail isn't up to snuff apparently. If the FTP doesn't work someone please let me know when they get the file. I'll send out emails to the various disaster management orgs when we have a reliable host. I might be able to host a .torrent in the mean time. Read about the system for distribution here http://bannedmusic.org/download_system.php It looks simple to use and there is no need to install a P2P client.

OK the link on Sheelblog is working for now. Thanks!

It might be a good idea to amass a collection of large media that might be useful for planning other than these images. Can anybody think of other data that needs hosting?

http://www.kuntes.net/images/ts2004.ppsI can host this file here till I run out of my allocated bandwidth for the day/month.

If you need more gmail accounts for large files or anything else, let me know. I can probably come up with 5-6 accounts that I can donate.

send me an email at abhijeet at kuntes dot net

A quote from the Wikimedia upload page
" I affirm that the copyright holder of this file agrees to license it under the terms of the Wikimedia Commons copyright."

I emailed them with no response so far. I'd prefer to hold of on that and resort to other means of hosting until that's cleared up.
