Tsunami hits India, Inc. with Rs 3,000 cr loss

According to industry estimates, losses in Andaman & Nicobar Islands alone will exceed Rs 1,000 crore, while another Rs 800 crore is estimated to be lost in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. However, textile companies in Tirupur have escaped the fury of the waves.
