The latest situation report from Govt of India gives an update on the rehabilation efforts going on the various indian states and Andaman & Nicobar.

All the Tsunami affected States/UTs have already started planning to start, as early as possible, the second phase of rehabilitation so that people resume their normal living. The fishermen are braving their grief and started venturing into the sea to a limited extend, of course not into the deep sea. Such reports have been received from Kerala, Tamil Nadu (Cuddalore and Kanyakumari Districts) and Andhra Pradesh (Gunture, Krishna, West Godawari and East Godwari). In Pondicherry the village Panchayats are meeting today to decided on resuming the fishing activity.
