DFID airlifts further relief supplies to Indonesia

A Department for International Development (DFID) chartered aircraft carrying Oxfam aid is scheduled to take off from East Midlands airport on 10 January at 12:00. The flight is delivering 393 packages of Water Filtration Equipment to Medan in Indonesia.

This flight is one of several DFID funded flights planned to leave over the next few days which are carrying relief supplies from Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) partners in response to the earthquake in the Indian Ocean and resulting Tsunami that struck on 26 December 2004.
