Reuters reports on how CARE has been aiding in relief work

4 Jan 2005: As CARE emergency response teams deliver lifesaving aid to survivors of the earthquake and tsunami in South Asia (details below), a look at online support shows that CARE has raised $5 million since Dec. 26. CARE has an on- and off-line fund-raising goal of $25 million to support both the immediate and long-term response to this disaster and so far has reached half that goal.
