I spent my National Service in Singapore in the 1950s from where many of my comrades spent time at RAF Car Nicobar. We all look on what has happened with great sadness at the tragedy which has befallen an island paradise. We all wish we could do more to help but the only practical thing we can do is support the relief effort with donations.
